| Jyotish or Vedic astrology / astronomy is the 5th Vendanga (5th limb of the Vedas) and is considered the eyes of the Vedas. Jyotish means “light” which dispels darkness. The eyes and the power of vision, according to the Vedas, are governed by the element of fire which gives us the light and vision to see. Vedic astrology provides the the light and vision to see into our own selves, increasing our consciousness understanding of who we truly are and why we are here. This class will shine some light on your own life and will give you some basic understanding of how to read and interpret your own astrology horoscope. |
